Tech Session – Cosmoline Corrosion Prevention – Registration

Many of you will know that Porsche has used Cosmoline for decades to protect against corrosion.  Cosmoline is now being applied in Edmonton to the underside of vehicles to protect them from the ravages of winter chemicals that are sprayed on our city streets.  See the dramatic comparison between protected and unprotected metals such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.  We will learn all about this wax-like corrosion inhibitor that doesn’t drip, doesn’t require any drilling of panels, or annual maintenance, but protects just like Porsche and a number of other German vehicle manufacturers intended.  There will also be an Audi S5 on a lift so that we can see, in detail, where Cosmoline is applied and what it protects.  If you care about your vehicles, don’t miss this Tech Session.
