Do you want to learn how to get more from your Porsche and yourself in a safe and FUN environment? Then come to our free Info Session on Autocross and HPDE on March 9th at 7:00 PM. Master writer Hal Higdon spent the race weekend shadowing Prudhomme during a race that was the turning point in The Snake’s dominating Funny Car racing career. \nHigdon captured the weekend drama minute-by-minute as The Snake fights for a chance to make history. SUMMARY:High Performance Driver Education
DESCRIPTION:The PCA High Performance Driver Education Program is a safe\, structured and controlled event with a PCA Trained Instructor in your vehicle with you. The coaching is tailored to you\, giving you the opportunity to improve your driving abilities and acquire a better understanding of vehicle dynamics and driving safety with the aid of in vehicle coaching\, at your pace. \nCoaching will be geared to the new to the track driver and then you will be given the okay to drive on your own\, and you drive always at your comfort level.  For more seasoned drivers\, a check out session is done before you drive solo.  The track portion will be run by Colin Spencer\, our Chief Driving Instructor who has run many\, many similar events.  This is a rare opportunity to get coaching\, in your car\, at your pace\, and best of all\, it is so much fun. \nThe event will take place at Stratotech using the complete course.  Prior to going on the track\, we will have driver’s meeting geared toward those new to being on the track to review basic track information such as driving line\, braking points\, etc. \nAll Porsches are welcome\, including convertibles and SUVs. There will be a visual safety inspection and driverts meeting\, prior to going on the course. If you have a valid car helmet\, you are set. We will have some helmets available for use\, all of which will be fully sanitized prior to each use. \nA tech inspection will be required prior to the event and we will have further information about that on Tuesday and in the e-mail to drivers following registration. \nIf you would like more information – come to the Cars\, Coffee and HPDE Info session at 7 PM on Tuesday\, August 23. \nWatch your e-mail or sign-in to register. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:Polar Region Newsletters Poster
DESCRIPTION:Note this website crops the image\, a full view of the image is in the e-mail sent.\n\nThere has been quite a bit of interest in the poster Andre and Angel created in the Q3 newsletter showing 20 years of Bear Facts Covers. We have decided to produce and offer a one time production of this poster for a cost of $100 of which $40 will cover the costs and the remaining $60 will be donated to Second Chance Animal Rescue https://www.scarscare.ca/  As you likely have seen in the media\, animal rescue centres are really feeling the pinch and this seems like a great opportunity to help. The contribution will be made on behalf of The Porsche Club of America Polar Region.\n\nThe poster will be as you see it here. Sized at 36″ x 24″ and printed on a 3mm PVC which is a durable and dense material\, yet light. It is waterproof\, easy to clean and has a low gloss surface to reduce glare. For your shop or garage you can mount it as is or if you prefer you could frame it.\n\nOnce the posters have been produced you will be able to pick them up from Christian Gersdorff at the new Porsche Centre Edmonton. We will let you know when they are available and provide Christian’s contact information so that you can arrange with him a convenient time to pick up your poster.\n\nLog in to order your poster.
