About Our Events
Cars & Coffee
We schedule weekend Porsche Cars & Coffee throughout the driving season, typically gathering in a park. The Polar Region supplies the coffee, and whether you have an air-cooled 356, a Boxster, 911, Macan or any member of the Porsche family, you are welcome to join the group. These are very casual gatherings, so you can stay for the entire time, or just drop in for half an hour - whatever suits your schedule. There is no need to confirm your presence in advance. Porsche Cars & Coffee is the perfect way to start your day!
Driving
We organize a variety of driving activities each year, including Breakfast Drives, Track Sessions, our annual Mystery Drive, and Weekend Getaways.
Social
The Polar Region has an assortment of social events including monthly Porsche Ladies’ Lunches, our annual early Spring Brunch, and later Spring Fling. We don’t want to forget the wonderful Potluck BBQ, or the Tech Sessions we have either separately or combined with another social event. Past Tech Sessions have included detailing, audio system upgrades, and other Porsche-centric learning opportunities.
Concours
Our Concours has changed over the years, from a formal event with judges and judging sheets to a more low-key gathering intended to show cars in their best light without formal judging. For a small entrance fee, there is a chance to win a People’s Choice award, enjoy food compliments of Porsche Centre Edmonton and win prizes provided by our generous club sponsors. This popular event allows you to show off your beautiful Porsche to other Polar Region members as well as the public while enjoying a lovely summer afternoon.
